Our Story

Welcome to Tim and Robin’s Trading Post – A True Staple in Wautoma, WI!

Nestled in the heart of Wautoma, Tim and Robin’s Trading Post is more than just a bar & grill — we’re a beloved community gathering place with a rich history and strong hometown pride. First opened in 2010 under the name The Trading Post, we’ve proudly served locals and visitors alike for over 15 years.

Our story is one of resilience and dedication. After a devastating fire led to the rebuilding of the original establishment, the business was renamed The Lodge. Later, under new ownership, the name returned to The Trading Post, honoring its roots. Robin, who had worked at the Trading Post for eight years, fell in love with the people and the community it served. So in 2023, she and her husband Tim made the heartfelt decision to take over and continue its legacy. Now, as Tim and Robin’s Trading Post, we remain a cornerstone in Wautoma — where good food, great drinks, and genuine connections come together.

We’re known far and wide for our famous pizza, signature giant pretzel, and classic Fish Fry Fridays — a local favorite that draws crowds every week. Our menu also features delicious broasted chicken, handcrafted burgers, crisp salads, and more — all served with a smile in a warm, welcoming environment.

What are your hours of operation?

We’re open Tues-Thurs 11am-10pm, Friday 11 am- 2 am, Sat 10 am -2 am and Sunday 10 am -9pm. Please check our social media or call ahead for holiday hours or special event days!

Do you take reservations?

We are a first-come, first-served establishment, but for large parties or event bookings, feel free to give us a call—we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

Is your fish fry available for dine-in and carryout?

Yes! Our famous Fish Fry Fridays are available for both dine-in and carryout. Call ahead to place your order or stop in and enjoy the full experience.
